Practical, hands-on training in sound, lighting, and video for in-house teams, church volunteers, and venue staff, building real confidence with your existing or new AV equipment.
The best AV system in the world is only as good as the person operating it. Whether you've just had a new system installed, inherited a room full of equipment you're not sure how to use, or simply want your team to feel more confident on Sundays, our training sessions are built around real-world, practical skills.
We don't deliver generic audio-visual theory. We work with your specific equipment, in your specific space, with your specific use cases. By the end of a session your team should be able to walk in on any given day, set up, and run your event or service with confidence.
Book a Training SessionEvery training session is different because every team and every setup is different. We start by understanding your equipment, your use cases, and where your team's current gaps are, then we build a session around that.
Sessions take place in your venue, on your equipment, in the context of how you actually use it. That's deliberately different from classroom training, we believe people learn best by doing, not by watching PowerPoint slides about audio theory.
We also offer follow-up sessions and ongoing support, so if your team has questions after the training, we're still there.
Focused training for a single operator, ideal for key technical leads, new staff members, or anyone who needs to build confidence quickly.
Training for teams of 2–8 people. Works well for church volunteer teams and venue staff who all need to cover the same role.
Longer, more comprehensive sessions covering multiple disciplines, ideal when you have a new installation or a major event coming up.
Regular check-ins and support for teams who want to keep developing. We can join rehearsals, review recordings, and help you improve event by event.
We have particular experience training church tech volunteers. We understand the unique pressures of Sunday morning, the emotional weight of getting it right, the reliance on volunteer goodwill, and the need for systems that even occasional operators can run reliably.
New staff joining an in-house AV team, or existing staff taking on new responsibilities. We get people up to speed quickly, focusing on what they actually need to know for their specific role and venue.
Venue technical staff who need to support a wide range of visiting productions. We train operators to be flexible, adaptable, and confident across different event types and technical setups.
Tell us about your team, your setup, and what you'd like them to be able to do, we'll put together a training proposal.
